Absolute Essential Bergamot

The uplifting citrus aroma of Bergamot has cleansing and restorative properties that can be used to support balance & natural composure. It has antiseptic & healing properties that support its use for general body maintenance and skin care and repair. Offering a tonic effect on a range of body functions, it also promotes emotional wellbeing and has specific use on the digestive process to encourage a sense of satiation to help avoid smoking or over-eating.

Bergamot blends well with Sandalwood, Petitgrain & Lemon.

Directions:

For composure & calm:
Add 3 - 5 drops of Bergamot to your diffuser to infuse your surroundings with a relaxing, restorative scent.

As a deodorant:
Create a lively and healthy citrus deodorant by adding 15 drops of Bergamot and 10 drops of Lemon to 25 mls of Jojoba oil or 50gm of Aloe Vera gel. Apply under the arms after a shower. Repeat as required.

To give up smoking:
If you are trying to give up smoking, surround yourself with the fragrance of Bergamot. Add 3 - 5 drops to your diffuser, bath, body lotion, or use as deodorant as described above.

For slimming down:
Bergamot has traditionally been used to support healthy digestion and to help counter cravings. Add 3-5 drops to your diffuser, or a few drops to your bath and body lotion.

Citrus auranthium var. bergamia (rind) - cold pressed.

Safety Considerations:

Bergamot is phototoxic therefore increases photosensitivity of the skin. Avoid sun exposure with Bergamot in skin blends. If ingested, drink milk. Avoid eyes, flush with water. Keep out of reach of children.

Essential oils are potent plant medicine and following directions is always advised.
