Women, wellness and our moon cycles

Women, wellness and our moon cycles

Luisa Workshop

We are happy to be hosting Luisa in store to share her knowledge on feminine cycles.

The sessions includes how to work with the moon to look after your energy, yoga for each phase of your cycle, nutrition, and intentions to carry through to the Autumn equinox. The event will guide you in:

  • Accessing your feminine power to be more embodied and at ease.
  • It's suitable for all women, regardless of their hormonal phase, including those who no longer bleed.

In this session, you're invited to observe the different seasons and stages of your life through an understanding of your menstrual cycle. Whether you are still bleeding, this knowledge remains powerful and potent. Knowing how to adapt your lifestyle, diet and yoga practice offers an empowering way to regulate your nervous system and helps balance your hormones.

The session will offer you a guide and practices on observing your cycle, including a simple yoga practice.

It's ideal for anyone who experiences PCOS, adenomyosis, endometriosis, painful periods, hot flushes, fatigue, irritability and nausea associated with their cycle.

About Luisa

"I started my journey to wellness and wellbeing with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Science and Psychology.

A severe back injury in my twenties led me to train as a pilates instructor in the field of rehabilitation.

Period pain, hormonal imbalances, endometriosis and a miscarriage took me on a journey to a deeper understanding of women's wellbeing. In 2008, I started to practice Iyengar Yoga, which led me to gain an internationally recognised Iyengar Yoga certification in May 2023.

I continued to explore women's wellbeing, working with Bobby Clennell, a core faculty member of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of New York. Her publications, The Woman's Yoga Book and Yoga for Breast Care, have been at the core of my personal work.

I am currently studying to become an IYAT Certified Yoga Therapist, the highest certificate in yoga therapy, as I truly believe in the therapeutic effects of yoga practice."
