Shipping policy
ONLINE ORDER - CLICK + COLLECT - MATAKANA
You can order online and pick up from our Matakana store. This can be particularly handy for those last minute gifts, especially at Christmas time. We will aim to have your order ready by 4pm that afternoon if it is made before 12 noon, otherwise the following day.
Shipping options are selected in the final screen when you are checking out. You will still need to enter your address details, then select ‘Click + Collect - Matakana Store’ on the payment screen.
Pick up is from Tea & Tonic, Shop 5a, 2 Matakana Valley Road, down near the market place next door to De Lovely.
SHIPPING
Tea and Tonic is located in Matakana, New Zealand. We ship to New Zealand and Australia, including rural addresses. For international shipping please email us at hello@teaandtonic.co.nz for more information.
Orders will be processed within standard business hours, Mon – Fri, 10am – 5pm. Any orders received outside of these times will be processed the next business working day. Processing of your order may take up to 48 working hours. Shipping estimates are additional to this processing time.
Please note that for rural deliveries, we are unable to offer a 'signature required' delivery service. To ensure the safe delivery of your goods, please specify a safe place to leave your parcel in the order notes. Please allow an extra two working days for delivery.
We will email you confirmation and your tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping rates are approximate figures and will be calculated based on the size and weight of the item, as well as the delivery destination. If an item is oversized we will get back to you regarding additional shipping costs.
Tea and Tonic takes great pride in the products offered and the delivery methods used. All products are packaged carefully to ensure they reach you safely. You can also add any special delivery instructions in notes at checkout.
Once an order has been placed you may not cancel the order, as goods are often packaged and shipped the same day. Please select carefully before placing an order.
When items are in stock they ship on the working day following payment clearance unless otherwise stated. Once items have been picked up, you will receive an email with your tracking information. Most parcels arrive within two - five working days. We will always advise if we expect any delay, however we cannot guarantee time frames for rural or international shipping as our providers do not have direct control over all parts of the international delivery chain - particularly customs! Your patience is appreciated.
PAYMENT AND CREDIT CARD SECURITY
All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Your credit card will be charged in New Zealand dollars. If you are purchasing from outside New Zealand the cost price is the GST inclusive price, and you will be responsible for any customs or other duty payable on your goods when they arrive at their destination.
We accept PayPal, Bank Deposit, MasterCard and Visa. If you would like to pay by bank deposit, please email hello@teaandtonic.co.nz directly with your order. We also offer Afterpay online.
We take customer security very seriously. We use DPS and shopify, both of which are PCI-CSS secure service providers, to process payments. All your credit card details are encrypted to the highest commercially available security level, as required by VISA and MasterCard worldwide. This encryption makes it virtually impossible for unauthorised parties to read any information that you send us. As these secure hosting providers process all payments we have no access to any credit card numbers or bank details at any time.
