Ingredients

Black tea.

Directions

Brew 1 teaspoon per cup, at 80°C, for 3 to 4 minutes. Perfect on its own or with a dash of your favourite milk. Also delicious with a splash of lemon or a drop of honey.

Tea Ritual: bloom the flavour by preheating the pot with boiling water before use. After brewing, return the spent herbs, leaves or flowers to the earth, whether to compost, a worm farm or the garden, and use the cooled leftover tea to hydrate and nourish the plants.
