The Knitter Winnie | Ivory

The Winnie is an open-front cardigan hand-knitted in 100% merino wool, worked in a chunky honeycomb lattice stitch that runs in vertical panels across the body and sleeves. Wide sleeves taper to ribbed cuffs, a ribbed hem sits at the hip, and the open front closes nothing. It is generous and unhurried in the way that only a hand-knitted thing can be. In ivory it has the quality of something found at the back of a drawer and worn every day from that moment on.

It wears with the deep, honest warmth of good merino. Not lightweight, not decorative, but genuinely insulating and oversized enough to pull on over whatever the day requires. The kind of garment that makes everything underneath feel considered, even when it isn't.

Because wool is a natural fibre and each piece is made by hand, there will be subtle variation from piece to piece. This is part of what makes it.

100% merino wool. Oeko-Tex certified.

Handknitted.

Care Store folded and not on a hanger, to maintain the knit's shape. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. To refresh, lay flat outside in the sun. At your own risk, a gentle hand wash in cold water is possible, laying flat in the sun to dry afterwards.
